IMAGINE THE PAIN THAT NEVER ENDS

Remember the first time you ever scraped you knee?,
used to cry when you felt the pain and saw it bleed.
The famous words that somebody would say?
"Don't worry sugar the pain will go away".
Well what if I told you about a place it never stops,
That it doesn't matter if the sun rises or you look at a watch.
The kind that will always stick in your mind,
and never go away if you just give it time.
A pain that became your biggest fear,
Like facing a needle or child birth 365 days a year.
Pain every woman goes through but a man don't know,
the one where she would tell her own mother where to go.
Or a fella getting kicked in a place other than his eye,
that just the thought of it would make a grown man cry.
That time somebody stepped on your big toe,
no matter how many sorrys your heard you wouldn't let it go.
Hitting a body part that has you imitating the Easter bunny,
wanting to hit people who laugh because the pain isn't funny.
With no pain killers, bear, Advil, or anything off of a shelf,
plus sharing the screams heard by everybody else.
Something that has people afraid to even speak,
knowing if they go will never get a wink of sleep.
There is only one person who can kiss it and make it better,
Jesus Christ, who you can fellowship with in Heaven forever.
You heard this message you can't say you were missed,
or else you'll feel the pain if your name isn't on the list.
