Injustice And Tyranny

I'll be the sacrificial lamb
I'll speak out against the powers that be
God has molded me into who I am
To stand against injustice and tyranny

You may not agree with what I believe
Because you've already judged me based on my past
But there's a wickedness man himself cannot conceive
Whose tentacles have a reach that's vast

Who's gospel are you going to tell
What god do you really serve?
A manipulation that goes over quite well
Which of you is man enough, who's got the nerve?

Why did Jesus come here to die
If we've all seem to turn our backs
We continue to follow the lie
How can we keep ignoring the facts?

Satan continues to package evil for good
And it's eventually accepted as mainstream
If we'd just stand up and do as we should
Then God would reveal all Satan's schemes

Silently we're brave, but publicly we fear
Defeated before we even get started
Of all the gods which do you revere?
None of this is for the fainthearted

We've been branded by God with the power to fight
One weapon we have is the sword of the spirit
He gave us power over darkness and revelation of light
And this world truly needs to hear it

This is why I'll be the sacrificial lamb
To speak out against the powers that be
Because God has molded me into who I am
Just so I can stand against injustice and tyranny
