Get to know Jesus I was told
He'll put an end to all your trouble
They was so convincing, downright bold
Yet my portion began to double
Confusion was at an all time high
I felt I was walking in a maze
Even then I believed the lie
Then I began to think on the good ole days
The word said, 'The Kingdom of Heaven was upon me'
Yet it seemed as though I'd been deceived
Peace and tranquility was something I couldn't see
But it's through faith which it's to be believed
My examples came from those who were just talk
Because the heavenly treasure is hard to find
From my experience this path will be hard to walk
Because it's not about sin, you need a renewed mind
