God is taking His time
To fashion you just for me
But still I can't help wondering
Oh when will it be?
The day we'll finally meet
And in our hearts we'll know
We're destined to take vows
And put on the grandest show
All our friends and loved ones
Will witness through teary eyes
As we wed one another
And unite our family ties
But until that day approaches
I'll find joy in single life
And wait until God eventually says
That I'm ready to be your wife
