I've made my plans and if I'm wrong
I've sung with life a precious song;
My legacy's all right to leave ~
I made my choice to just believe.
If I am right (faith tells me true)
I'll watch and wait and pray for you
To come where streets are made of gold
Where friends can never e'en grow old.
And, if I'm wrong, what have I lost ~
Believing in that rugged cross?
I'll leave a life with hosts of friends
Who walked with me right to the end!
So, close my eyes and fold my hands,
Dream I am off to Glory Land;
And dream you'll come one day to see
The hosts of angels tending me!
