Drink the Living Water

All day long we journey thru misery and strife
Looking and searching trying to find a better life
Not really knowing the best is yet to come
We continue our journey, yet hard for some
Pressing, pressing, pressing our way
Then we realize, no more strength for the day
What will we do, we think and say?
Who's going to help us continue our way?

All of a sudden our soul begins to speak
I hear a voice from heaven He knows that you are weak
Stop, for a moment, you have done your best

Drink the living water and God will do the rest
Drink the living water God will give you strength
Drink the living water your thirst will be quenched

Now that our journey for this day is done
We say to ourselves today's victory is won
We pause for a moment and reflect upon this day
With our head upon our pillow in victory shall we lay
Thinking about tomorrow and remembering this day
Our soul begins to ponder what tests will come our way
We stop and say it really doesn't matter
What tests and trials the day puts on our platter

All of a sudden our soul begins to speak
I hear a voice from heaven He knows that you are weak
Stop, for a moment, you have done your best

Drink the living water and God will do the rest
Drink the living water God will give you strength
Drink the living water your thirst will be quenched
