Ujamaa Christian Poetry
In His Name (The Most High)
I came to you a sinner,
and you saved me.
I came to you a thief,
and you forgave me.
I came to you filled with hate,
and you showed me love.
I came to you lost in my ways,
and you gave me guidance from above.
I came to you with pride and vanity.
You where there to embrace me and show me
a different side of beauty.
I came to you only when it was
convenient.
You where they're understanding how I
came and went.
I came to you and continued to do wrong.
You sent sign's and reminders to be strong.
I came to you an addict and you took me
in the same. For all the love and inspiration
I write this in your name.
