O Lord I write unto you poems of praise
It is you that I honor and your name that I raise
You are my rock and my fortress
And this page I will beautify and dress
With sweet love poems to You
You are my deliverer, always faithful and true
You are my light and salvation
I'll write poems to show forth appreciation
Beautiful and righteous You are
All together lovely, my shining star
I will be glad and rejoice in thee
It is your love that has set me free
I will exalt You and write of your power
You are my hope, an undying flower
Three hundred and sixty five days a year
I will write about how You bring me cheer
Glory, Glory, Hallelu
I'll write poems of praise to You
