Broken Heart

Thank you Father for this broken heart,

Thank you that I'm hurting and that I'm falling apart

For I know this is all part of your wonderful plan

To break me and then build me into a better man,

Thank you for your mercy; for letting me suffer only what I can endure,

I realise now that all this pain is you blessing me with a cure.

But it hurts quite bad right now, so could you please just hold me close

For it were you all along and not her, that I truly needed the most.
