Backslider

I look for your face to behold My beauty.
When will I hear your voice of praise.
Does not the shepherd leave the 99 sheep to
attend to the one that's lost? Have you
really counted up the cost? The cost that
was paid for you and I to commune, the blood
that was shed that snatched you from the
eternal life of doom. I miss those special
moments of intimacy, I miss your eager
expectancy. To praise Me is to want Me to
worship Me is to touch Me, to hear My voice
is to see Me. Come home, your room is just
as you left it. Come home, this space is
only for you. No one can fill this empty
space. I loved you then and I love you
now. I will love you forever more. I'm
married to the backslider. I don't divorce
My children, I'm called faithful and true.
Come home My love, I will always love you!
