Finish It!

Torment, suffocating, decaying flesh, I carry with me. A constant reminder
that I've been bought with a price. Payment in Your Holy blood. I die, it
hurts, it stinks, rescue me, finish it. I die slowly, painfully, I just
want to let me go! I loved me, I protected me. The stench of my flesh I
cannot bare. The smell, please oh God, finish it. Complete the work, ouch
that burns, I cannot take it. Please heavenly Father finish it. Finish in me
only Your perfect will. I desire to be a reflection of Your purity. It
hurts, and its painful, but my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak, and
only You, oh my Holy God are able to complete in me this good work that only
You have started. Tie me to Your Holy Altar. I give my body, my will, my
past hurts and failures, my way of thinking, my unforgiving heart, my
bitterness in my pre-ordained trials and tribulations, my ungratefulness of
salvation in exchange for Your Holiness, Your perfect love, Your joy, Your
perfect Will for my life. Oh my Father I wait patiently as you finish me.
So I continue to grow through my trials and tribulations that I may first
obtain perfected patience with myself and then with others. As I kneel
before on my blood stained knees, if pray for You to finish it Father,
finish it. I'd rather be a slave in Your Kingdom than a Queen in the pits of
hell.
Finish it Father, Finish it.
