Real Life

I want to be kind.
I want to be loving.
I want to be merciful,
Do just as Jesus would do.

But I find myself doing
The opposite things,
Speaking in anger
Not wnat Jesus would do.

Frustration sneaks in.
I can't do just as I please.
I don't live as an island.
I want to do as Jesus would do.

Thank God He gave the Spirit
Who lives inside me
To enable me to cope.
He can help me do what Jesus would do.

In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. Romans 8:37
