He attended Tennessee Tech and graduated in 1971 with an electrical engineering degree. He has worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority, a federal electric power utility for over 30 years. After marrying Kay in 1972, Mac became a Southern Baptist. He now has 3 daughters and two grandchildren and has been a deacon for over 20 years. Dave Dullum - I am 51 years young and live in Bakersfield California and I have been married to my wife Barbara for 19 wonderful years. We have 3 sons, Joseph, Nicholas, and David Jr.. I also have 3 grandchildren. Iam a new born again christian of 2 1/2 years. I have been writing poetry on and off for many years, but it wasn't until I came to know Christ as my Savior that I found a subject that I could pour my heart out to in poem. It is one way I speak to my Lord. The Lord inspires each poem, I just write the words down. He has given me this gift so that maybe unbelievers will read them and come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Praise the Lord!!

I served in the US Army and the US Marines. I attended the Chicago School of Journalism where I received my B/A. I then went on to Columbia U at New York to get my Masters. Although educated late in life, I have many wonderful memories of the places I have been and of the many warm and encouraging people who influenced my life as a writer and poet. I presently reside in southwest Florida by myself and spend my days writing of the things that people need to know.
