Walk upright and circumspect
Let His word carry you through
For we are far from being perfect
But it's the truth we have to pursue
We have not been forsaken
Though at times we may be down
Our consciousness has been awaken
Even in suffering still, we strive for the crown
He gives us power to shine His light
By setting us free from our own prison
His mercy allows the blind to receive their sight
Through His love He's made ample provision
So you see weeping may endure for a night
Because at times this life can be so demanding
But as long as we keep fighting the good fight
We'll have a peace that surpasses all understanding
