GODS POWER
I boast in my weakness
following the example of Jesus
when led to the slaughter
in His ultimate act of meekness
begging for water
spit on by His daughters
arms stretched wide
open like a book
for all to receive
yet some don't believe
how the power of God was yet released
in the resurrection of the King
we have a lot in common
except I've been redeemed
can't you see
or are you blinded by your unbelief
do you still have that slave mentality
enthralled to yourself and who you want to be
it's true we all have our individuality
but it will never be complete
unless God's infinite power is your reality
2 Corinthians 12 9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
