Amazing Grace

He had been a robber
The cruelest kind no doubt
A robber will boldly break in
When a family is in the house

A thief will sneak around
Hoping never to be seen
A robber is bold and violent
merciless, angry and mean

But this one robber on a cross
See's the Savior's face
Repents and makes a request
To receive God's unmerited grace

And Jesus dying next to him
Forgave his sin that day
Declared he'd be in paradise
Now that's Amazing Grace!
