and now I have become better and so much more
than that teen thinking that church was a bore
and that timid young man who could not yet pray
and the adult talking with God through the day
and I am so grateful for all that you've done
even though greater still is to come
to think of the wondrous life I will lead
along by your side with your word you will feed
and success with people who come and who go
to share bits of you and to help them to know
how to look back on thier lives with content
how to be with you after their days have been spent
