Ephesus, Where is Your Love?

Oh Ephesus, Ephesus,
Where is your love?

You were the perfect bride!
You spread word of our love throughout the land…
Where is your love?

How does one fall out of love?
You worked so hard in the beginning…
You persevered, endured the pains of childbirth, suffered…
Where is your love?

They say, absence makes the heart grow fonder…
Where is your love?

I've not been gone long and yet…
Yet, you have fallen far away from Me.
Oh where, where is your love?

Oh Ephesus, can you hear Me?
I'm not far away, I'm right here, in your midst.
I'll be with you until the end of the age.
Where is your love?

Others have come to court you since I've gone…
I know you have turned them away…
Still I wonder where, where is your love?

Why have you forsaken Me?
I'll never leave you nor forsake you.
Where is your love?

Go back Ephesus, go back…
Back to where we began…
I want you in your rightful place…
I need you with Me!
Repent, Ephesus. Where is your love?

Come Ephesus, come to Me…
Come, join Me in My garden…
Come and eat of the Tree of Life…
Don't make Me question, where is your love!
