Some Days

At times when we are troubled
There are days we sit and cry;
It's then God lifts our spirits
With the trees and a sunlit sky.

He soothes a heart with a rose
Moistened with morning dew,
Sparkling like a diamond
As each day dawns anew.

Some days there maybe rainstorms
When skies are dark and grey,
But when the storm clouds pass,
A rainbow beautifies the day.

Other days are sheer magic
With sunshine that has no end,
And the song of a lark ascending
Can help a broken heart mend.

Blessings are all around us
God gave them to you and me,
And all of His gifts can heal us
If we only have eyes to see.
