Dear Jesus, Do Not Cry For Me

I saw a gray cloud today
I could see Jesus as He cried
My Dearest Jesus forgive me
If I try to hide

As I watched the raindrops
I saw the miracle of Your face
Please do not shed more tears
For because of You, we'll find a better place

The sorrow now is in the distance
With my soul I hold You close
Dearest Jesus, let me touch You
For it is You I love the most

You who paint the meadows
The flowers, birds and trees
Why cry over the lonely ones
The ones who hurt like me

Dear Jesus, I can see a rainbow
You carry me inside Your hand
I am a gift of Your love
At birth you helped me understand
