You can dunk your cookies and talk to the Lord
all at the same time.
He will listen to you and guide you and
you will feel just fine.
Life doesn't always have to be complicated and
filled with troubles and woes.
Tell yourself you are going to rise above them with the Lord's help,
'cause that's how it goes.
The Lord is real easy to get along with and
He will never turn an invitation down.
Never think the Lord doesn't love and
never think he just wants to run you around.
So, milk and cookies with the Lord a couple times a week,
it's your choice anytime you make the call.
The Lord will be there with you because He loves you so very much -
so for this poem that's all!
