A Warm Afternoon

It's a warm afternoon here in South Florida -
robbin birds are migrating by God's Plan.
God sent them here to escape the cold North
they drink and eat all the bounty they can.

Warm weather and lots of people are greeting
the tired birds on their perilous way.
We are kind to them offering food and water
and then they migrate on another day.

We need food for our bodies and we also need
most assuredly spiritual nourishment.
Our Spirits need the Lord's words--it brings us
peace for our daily contentment

Let us remember --that one day we will migrate
to Heaven where God is waiting for us.
God sent His only Son so that our migration
could continue. Thank you, Jesus!
