The Betrayal
saved by grace
called to holiness
anointed with chrism
ordained to serve
the watchman's calling to
protect
pastor
preach
teach as a
shepherd for the flock
bearing the
cost of discipleship
being an example of
repentance
forgiveness
purity
self-sacrifice
prophets of the Lord
a lofty calling
not accepted lightly to
preach the gospel
but
when sin is hidden
by the double-mindedness of
impurity's luridness
orthodoxy despised by
progressive fantasies
heresies of secularism
disguised in vestments of
theological theories
catechesis a
train wreck
fostering niceness
instead of holiness
conscience doing
whatever you feel is
relatively right
politicians posing as
faithful Catholics
yet fostering
killing fields
sin an
unspoken reality
marriage's natural
law is pc's
orphaned child
contraception a
case unmade
the Gospel's
who what why how
so simple yet
so quenched
while believers
wonder why
nothing is said
nothing is done to
protect the sheep
from the wolves
in the name of
pastoral dreaming or
fear of reprisals
which leaves us
feeling
brokenhearted and
betrayed
yet
Jesus is Lord
the Spirit is moving
miracles are happening
a new era is here
humility's servant is
in the House so
repent and believe
pray for the shepherds
praise the Lord
take up your cross and
witness the truth in love
earnestly desire the
spiritual gifts for
the gates of hell
shall not prevail
