When I first got saved and gave my life to Christ
I dropped all the pleasures from my secular life
It's true I didn't slip back into fornication once
I admit it was hard at first
When I kept hearing the Word it quenched my thirst
When I listened to Pastor's message "God is looking for a Man"
The Spirit of God really helped me understand
How to be a gentleman in the Lord
How to express myself to the woman that I adore
How to stand tall for God and he would direct my path
In the things of Him and to keep Him first
And to make sure that I brought his 10% to church
If I am faithful to God, I'll be faithful to you
My sweet princess, I pray to God for you
That you can cook and clean and match my suits with my ties
And that your lips feel soft when they connect with mine
That you love the Lord Jesus just as much as I do
That I see the sparkle in you eyes when we both say I do
When I first saw you in Church praising the Lord
Nice style, so fine classy looking and more
Involved in numerous church events
Always looking relaxed never seeming tense
Sometimes I admit that I fantasized a bit
Nothing sinful it was all clean fun
That we were on the beaches of Jamaica and we would hold hands and run
You're the special secret that God kept from me
He wanted to cherish you to the infinite degree
Now we can unite and let God's will be done
Oh how powerful our prayers will be when we join together as one
I got that special feeling like Adam had when he first saw Eve
And if we keep God 1st, it will never leave!
