The Whispering Wind

A still small voice speaking soft and true
Speaking to our heart as we travel thru
We look, listen and pause for a few
And say to ourselves we recognize you

You're that still small voice that whispers in the wind
You travel around the earth over and over again

This still small voice that whispers in the wind
It turns every corner and travels around every bend
Just to get our attention, hoping for our ear
Speaking to our heart and trying to make it clear
You're that still small voice that whispers in the wind
You travel around the earth over and over again

This still small voice that whispers in the wind
We hear it as it travels not knowing where it's been
We listen so carefully trying to understand
Realizing if we miss it, it might not come back again

You're that still small voice that whispers in the wind
You travel around the earth over and over again

This still small voice that whispers in the wind
Is the voice of God speaking as a friend
Speaking so softly, speaking so true
Desiring our attention as He travels thru
