Only Hope In You

Only hope in you prevails, when all else fails.
Lead to a blood stained cross, debris and scattered nails
A sinner with your hand of grace upon me.
The only motivation to continue on is your love for me.
Clothed in humility, Baptized in your spirit.
Quenched by your living water, I heard you voice from the pulpit.
Redeemed and sanctified. I, who walked in darkness. Callused and heartless.
Chosen from birth, to stand before men to give account and witness.
All that I have seen and yet to be shown. Planting seeds to be sown.
Before we gather in the clouds and return home.
The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
Faithful unto death as the martyrs persecuted for their faith in you.
With perseverance and integrity I shall triumph in your name.
Glorifying you as Lord, and Savoir. Without doubt or shame.
For you alone are worthy of praise. I lift my hands as a sign of surrender.
A walking testimony. Once lost and bound, and I will always remember.
The love the strength the encouragement and inspiration.
Wisdom from my brothers, as well as devotion, and dedication.
Truly no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
My shield and armor. Showered with your mercies and favor.
Your peace surpasses all understanding.
In obedience and loyalty I shall fulfill my destiny and calling.
