MOTHER

Mother, they say she is a vision of virtue,
girded with strength, but yet is meek and lowly.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and oh how she is praised.
Her price is far above rubies,
what a gem she must be.

Ok! Lord, what happened to me,
where did I go wrong?
How do I correct this mess Lord,
is this some kind of test?

My family is falling apart,
how I long for a new start.
I'm struggling through life,
without any direction,
praying each day for Gods protection.

I'm divorced now and can barely make ends meet,
I've made one mistake after another;
and now I'm on the street.
My children cry out in such despair,
my heart cries out, HOW UNFAIR!

Then one day it happened,
I heard the knock and answered.
Jesus came in and saved me from sin,
and showed me a better way of life.
He taught me the virtue,
of being a mother and wife.
What he did for me,
he can do for you too.
The Lord must have known that somewhere in me
there was a virtuous woman, who desired to be.
The road will be rough, and the trials great,
but I did it, and you can too!
The word of God says;
"Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her own works, praise her in the gates,
Proverbs 31:31

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
Thou wilt revive me!
