BIG BANG?

Now wait
Stop and think!
Your deepest thoughts
Or do you ever?
Do you wonder; are you near or far?
Or, coming is the end of days?
No echoes of "big booms'" dismay
For are you sure your time's secured-
Paid in full? For when your time has come,
Surely appears; Arrives to pay its dues
And life's precious metered run is done
Can you tell? And, at what cost to you
Have you bought your worth; what life has in store?
Soggy brow, sweat filled eyes
Silent; still and deep; they steep
Short of breath, quickened heart
Undertaker's anxious... For his start
For whom sets-your timetable?
Why do you not wonder... Are you not able?
And to what track, is your train of thought?
On and on, again and again, breath is brought
And still; comes this air, which fills your lungs
Why should this, be repeating?... Is it ever done?
"big bang?" you ask-"Is not life granted us!"
Oh! Don't leave ... Oh! But don't come back, not now
Wondering, "big bang" still hangin' 'round?
It's been said, "he just came and gone; somehow"
There must be more ... There has to be?
Is it not your right? Your fair share of air
They say you're a good man-You deserve it
So, was asked of Air, " What do you deserve?"
Replying-"Just think; of why, you deserve me
And why do you take me for granted.
Does it matter? And who are you to ask of it?"
For all your lifetime's, supply of air
Will bring you to your casket
"big bang", that's it ... The end
