A Night To Remember

It definately was a night that I will
always be sure to remember.
I found out - to find God, I had to
my old ways surrender!

It was a lot easier than I thought it would
be, I said "Lord come into my heart.
I believe that you died for my sins" I was
off to a real good start!

Then the next day I started noticing things
that I had been doing very wrong.
A voice inside said,"Stay away from the
night clubs, there you don't belong!"

All of my buddies started to make fun of
me because I would not drink and I had
stopped using every dirty word.
But after a while they would not drink
around me and no curse words I heard.

I never preached to them or forced any of
my beliefs down their throat, no words of
damnation or of hell.
I let God do all of that and I prayed for them
and that is all of this story I can tell!
