Jesus was separated from God on the cross when He
said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
Jesus was away from God for us so we would not
ever have to be! Matthew 27:46
God sent Jesus to be sacrificed for everyone one of us
and for every one of our many sins.
Even though we were God's enemies His great love for
us He gave and that is where salvation begins!

Jesus actually took every sin's penalty for every man,
woman and child who ever lived or would live.
Jesus gave us new life, an eternal union of the soul
with God, what a great love He did give.

Our salvation is free, but it is not cheap, it's a gift
from God to us all and it cost God alot. Romans 6:23
The price was the life of Sweet Jesus, for our wages
of sin was separation from God and to be with God
is what Jesus' life bought!
