A Kind Samaritan

This story Jesus told a man about loving your neighbor
So that all could learn what He said.
"A Jewish man was beaten while traveling to Jericho
He was left beside the road, nearly dead.

A Jewish priest and a Temple assistant walked quickly
by They paid the attacked man not a bit of attention.
A dreaded Samaritan came along, helped the beaten man
And showed him kindness [without exemption]."

The Samaritan took the man to an inn, to care for him,
He told the owner to help the man and he would pay.
"Now, who was a neighbor to the attacked man?"
Jesus asked of those who were around that day.

The man with the question replied; "The Samaritan
showed kindness, mercy and was good to him."
Then Jesus said;"Yes, now go and do the same."
And be a good example for all kinds of men.
